I'm quite behind in posting these photos. And I've got a few more coming soon: Lymbyc Systym, The Pains of Being Pure at Heart, Two Door Cinema Club, and Frightened Rabbit.
As for these two shows - Fennesz at the Middle East on 9/20 and Margot at the Middle East on 9/27 - both are well deserving of silver medals. Fennesz was deep, powerful, and more engrossing than I imagined an ambient / drone show could be. Margot, as always, was loud and engaging, and made all the better by the typically sad, thoughtful lyrics (and the whole audience singing along).More photos below, and the rest on my Flickr
